This is the new Level 2 Certificate in Knowledge of Electronic Security and Emergency Systems (QCF) ¿ Intruder Alarm Systems.
The course is designed for both apprentices and school leavers interested in a career in the security industry to introduce the range of knowledge and skills needed.
Units of study include;
¿ Electrical & Electronic Principles in Electro Technical Environments
¿ Working Effectively and Safely in Electro Technical Environments.
¿ Intruder alarm systems
Assessment methods
There will be number of Multiple choice On-line exams, assignment and practical assessments.
¿ Please note: Due to the security sensitive nature of this industry it is a requirement that candidates must have no criminal convictions.
Entry requirements
Grades A-C in Maths, English and Science, or suitable qualification.

Ideally, candidates should seek an apprenticeship to progress with Level 3 Certificate in Security & Emergency Alarm Systems and associated National Vocational Qualifications.
Other options
